Cecil Beaton

One of the top fashion photographers before the second world war, his works were always full of irony and unusual combinations.
Beaton's style was also a personal reinterpretation of fashion and glamour photography, influenced by his bisexuality and by the Pop Art culture.
During the world, he went to Europe as an official photographer of the British Ministry of Information, and his photos were so schoking, to contribute on the decision of the United States to intervene in the world conflict. The most famous was the photography of Eileen Dunne, a three-year-old girl hospitalized holding her rag doll.
