Photography is a visual art. It is dominated by the power images have over people's minds. The images, however, are "interpretable". Not in the sense that they are false. But they can tell a thousand different stories, based on the point of view of those who take them and the point of view of those who look at them. And everyone can read the truth about him. And so it's nice that sometimes it's the photographer himself who speaks, telling his truth. What's behind a photo, how much work is behind an entire photo report. How he learned to photograph and maybe even what they feel when taking a shot.
In a world dominated by images, let's not forget the importance of the words and of the stories behind each image.
